Made for use with Women's Land Army uniform, in a beige/fawn pure wool which is consistent with records for these stockings held at the IWM, these stockings have a fine mock rib in the cuff and a ribbed body. They are hand-wash only.
The stockings have a deep cuff which can be worn just over the knee or folded down as per original fashion, the toe and heel are fully fashioned for a comfortable fit. I am happy to make the leg length longer or shorter to suit your requirements. A twist of matching yarn for eventual mending is supplied.
