Inspired by the stitch pattern found on the hairnet of Haraldskær Woman, an Iron Age bog body, our kit brings this right up to date by using it for a practical bag in strong soft cotton.
 
Kit contains two 50g balls of yarn, a pair of wooden bag handles, a wood handled latch-hook and full photo instructions. There is also a detailed video available on my YouTube channel if you prefer video instructions. Packaged in a neat kraftpaper bag, those would make an excellent gift.
 
Kit is also available without the yarn, a useful option if you have stash to use up or want to save a bit of weight (a consideration for overseas postage sometimes), you still get the handles, latch-hook and instructions.
