Slim bronze or brass implement with a flat spatula on one end and the teeniest tiniest spoon on the other. Long enough to get right down into the bottom of a narrow necked jar, these are perfect for use with pigments, cosmetic powders or solid perfumes.
Hand forged from bronze rod, these are modelled on Roman examples though would also be a consideration for some later historical periods especially as part of a medical/surgeons's kit. Also exceptionally handy for getting just a little out of spice jars.
Made to order. The way our order book is currently working, we open the shop approximately once a month for new commissions and shut it again once we have as many orders as we think we can realistically make over the next 4-6 weeks. Please be aware that your order may fall anywhere into that timescale. We'll always aim to be as prompt as we can.
Sally Pointer - Heritage education
bringing you objects, skills, and inspiration from the past, to enrich the future
We are sorry to have to announce that Gareth died on Friday 26 March 2021 after being diagnosed with cancer in the autumn of 2020.
Sally had surgery for breast cancer on 30 March and is also currently doing an MSc in Experimental Archaeology, so between healing and university is currently working a bit more slowly than usual. Thank you for your patience and support!
