Handmade using fine linen thread or wool yarn (wool comse in a little cheaper as the yarn is heavier so works up a bit faster. Your choice of dyed or undyed wool), our sprang hairnet is a good consideration for very late Neolithic through Bronze Age styles, though the technique does survive into the medieval period and beyond in some areas. Our nets are largely modelled on Bronze Age finds.

Quite a variety of stylings possible with these, and each will be unique, but a few recent ones shown in the picture. If you'd like me to work from a specific example let me know.

We try to work on orders as promptly as we can, but please be aware that due to current demand, new orders may take around six weeks to fill. We are usually much, much faster, but we do increasingly hit busy periods where demand outstrips hours in the day! If your order is urgent, get in touch before ordering for an up to date estimate of current lead times.
