Based on a late 14thC Venetian carving on the Doges Palace of a man in a pointy hat of the type usually grouped together under 'Acorn Caps', this is a friendly, cosy little cap knitted in pure wool then shrunk after knitting to make a dense fabric, this has a neat hemmed edge for a smooth finish.

Any size or shade you like, the body of the hat as well as the point can be made longer or shorter as well, just let me know what you would like when you order. In bright modern shades it mades a great festival cap and looks especially good on children of all ages.

Made to order. The way my order book is currently working, I open the shop approximately once a quarter for new commissions and shut it again once I have as many orders as we think I can realistically make over the next three months or so. Please be aware that your order may fall anywhere into that timescale. I'll always aim to be as prompt as we can.
