Hand knit Monmouth labourer's cap based on my direct examination of the surviving cap at the Nelson Museum. This one started out as a natural cream pure wool then was dyed in an exhaust madder bath for a soft shade that would suit a lower status impression as well as being a good hat for modern wear. Currently blocked to a 'one size fits most' medium-large adult size, I am very happy to full this a little more to fit smaller heads if required. One off and available now.
