Made on the same antique hand cranked stocking machine as our socks, and using the same pure wool in a wide variety of shades, we can now offer practical and cosy legwarmers! Plain or with a decorative thin stripe.
Ribbed at both ends (one end has longer ribbing than the other) with a plain knit centre section and featuring an optional stripe detail in a contrasting shade, these are approximately 31 inches long unstretched and should work on most leg sizes.
I have a wide range of yarns available so should be able to match most colour requests, just let me know at checkout what shades you fancy. Handwash.
Made to order. The way our order book is currently working, we open the shop approximately once a month for new commissions and shut it again once we have as many orders as we think we can realistically make over the next 4-6 weeks. Please be aware that your order may fall anywhere into that timescale. We'll always aim to be as prompt as we can.
Legwarmers
As well as being great leg warmers, these can be worn with the long rib folded down and the short rib tucked into boots to create a footless kilt hose leg, very useful if you prefer thinner socks inside boots but want the leg coverage of a long sock.
