A hat style popular with Landsknecht outfits, this exuberant hat is also sometimes known as a 'starfish' hat. Made to order in pure wool (sometimes wool blend for some shades) melton and lined with heavyweight unbleached linen with all visible stitching worked by hand.

We have access to a good basic range of shades in this wool, but please dop us a line (enquiries@sallypointer.com) before ordering so that I can check I can get the shade you require. Fabric suppliers vary and if you need a shade from a different manufacturer it may affect the price slightly.

There are a couple of different ways to orient the slashed brim to the crown, let me know if you have a firm preference otherwise I'll arrange your hat in the way that seems a good idea on that particular occasion!
 
Made to order. The way our order book is currently working, we open the shop approximately once a month for new commissions and shut it again once we have as many orders as we think we can realistically make over the next 4-6 weeks.
